Xin các cụ viết báo đừng giật tít cho dân mình sướng vì ai đến đây chả nói thế. Chê bai dân MXH chửi cho vuốt mặt không kịp.

Nếu có đi chơi ở phố cổ, cứ bảo Tim một mình qua đường. Nếu y thản nhiên giữa dòng xe cộ thì đúng là đất nước này đẹp.

Timothy Donald Cook (Tim Cook - sinh ngày 1 tháng 11 năm 1960) là Giám đốc điều hành (CEO) của Apple, người đồng sáng lập Apple với Steve Jobs.

Cook gia nhập Apple vào tháng 3 năm 1998 và được bổ nhiệm làm Giám đốc điều hành vào ngày 24 tháng 8 năm 2011 sau khi Jobs, người bị bệnh và qua đời vào tháng 10 năm đó.

Năm 2014, Cook trở thành Giám đốc điều hành đầu tiên của một công ty trong danh sách Fortune 500 công khai là người đồng tính.

Trong nhiệm kỳ của mình, ông đã ủng hộ cải cách chính trị giám sát quốc tế và trong nước, an ninh mạng, sản xuất nội địa của Mỹ và bảo vệ môi trường.

Khuyên Tim Cook khi thăm các VIP nhà mình nên nói chuyện này cho rõ, rằng muốn Bphone vượt iPhone thì CEO của Bkav đừng dựa hơi nhà nước. Ăn mặc giống Steve Jobs để ra mắt khi nổ Bphone thì chưa đủ.

Tim Cook có kiểu điều hành vĩ mô tốt hơn Steve Jobs vi mô, lặt vặt, kiểu bắt nhân viên đi muộn hay đi tè nhiều.

Ông hay gửi email vào lúc 4:30 sáng mỗi ngày trong tuần và từng họp qua điện thoại vào tối Chủ Nhật để chuẩn bị cho tuần tiếp theo.

Cook tập trung vào con người, chiến lược và thực thi. Ông giải thích, "Nếu bạn hiểu đúng ba điều đó, thế giới là một nơi tuyệt vời."

Apple giầu cỡ nào?

Kể từ năm 2011 khi tiếp quản Apple đến năm 2020, Cook đã tăng gấp đôi doanh thu và lợi nhuận của công ty, đồng thời giá trị thị trường của công ty tăng từ 348 tỷ USD lên trên dưới 2 nghìn tỷ USD trong khi GDP của VN khoảng 450 tỷ.

Năm 2023, Apple có doanh thu 383,2 tỷ USD, 52% đến từ doanh số iPhone.

Apple Services là bộ phận lớn thứ hai, chịu trách nhiệm 22% doanh thu.

Năm 2022, 232 triệu iPhone, 61 triệu iPad và 26 triệu máy Mac và MacBook đã được bán.

Apple Music có 88 triệu người đăng ký, Apple TV + có hơn 75 triệu

Năm 2011 khi mới nhậm chức, trong một cuộc họp thảo luận về một vấn đề Apple ở Trung Quốc, Tim Cook lưu ý rằng vấn đề này "thực sự tồi tệ" và ai đó nên ở Trung Quốc để khắc phục nó.

Ba mươi phút sau, Cook nhìn sang Giám đốc Điều phối @của Apple, Sabih Khan, và hỏi "Tại sao anh vẫn ở đây?". Thế là Sabih Khan lên chuyến bay ngay sau đó đi Bắc Kinh. 

Năm 2022 bị Bộ Tư pháp Mỹ kiện vì độc quyền do không cho iMessage được liên thông với cùng kiểu iMessage của Android.

Một nhà báo hỏi nhân vụ việc này, mẹ tôi có máy Android nhưng không gửi được iMessage sang iPhone, thế là làm sao hử, Tim Cook?

CEO của Apple thản nhiên trả lời "Buy your mom an iPhone - Ông hãy mua cho bà ấy cái iPhone."

JAKARTA, April 17 (Reuters) – 

Apple Inc (AAPL.O) , opens new tab will look into building a manufacturing facility in Indonesia, its CEO said on Wednesday after meeting President Joko Widodo, who hoped the tech giant would increase its local content by partnering with domestic firms.

Apple chief executive Tim Cook arrived in Jakarta on Tuesday after visiting Vietnam. He met with Jokowi, as the president is popularly known, and will inaugurate its fourth developer academy on the island of Bali.

"We talked about the president's desire to see manufacturing in the country, and it is something that we will look at," Cook told reporters after the meeting.

Apple has no manufacturing facilities in Indonesia, but since 2018 it has been setting up app developer academies, which including the new academy have a total cost of 1.6 trillion rupiah ($99 million).

Indonesia's industry minister, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, who also attended the meeting, told reporters that if Apple decided to build manufacturing facility in Indonesia, it would have the capacity to produce for export.

"We will discuss how Apple's facility in Indonesia could become a global supply chain," he said, adding that the government said that even if Apple didn't built a factory, it could partner with Indonesian companies to obtain components.

Apple has met Indonesia's 35% local content requirement to sell its products by investing in developer academies, Agus said, but the government hoped that number could be pushed higher with a manufacturing facility.

Apple has based much of its key manufacturing of iPads, AirPods and Apple Watches in Vietnam; suppliers for MacBooks are also investing in the country.

Indonesia has a huge, tech-savvy population, making the Southeast Asian nation a key target market for tech-related investment.

Jakarta. President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to meet with Apple's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tim Cook, at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday. Minister of Communication and Informatics (Menkominfo), Budi Arie Setiadi, confirmed the agenda.

"Apple CEO Tim Cook will be received by President Jokowi at the State Palace at 09:30 a.m. Jakarta time," he said via a text message, on Tuesday.

The meeting will discuss the potential investment of Apple in Indonesia. This meeting presents an opportunity for Indonesia to become an integral part of the global technology ecosystem.

"Details regarding the discussion will be announced after tomorrow's meeting. This is a great opportunity for Indonesia as we play a crucial role in the technology ecosystem," he added.

Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita expressed his hope for potential investment from Cook's visit to Indonesia.

"We have been in communication with Apple for quite some time. There are policies we have issued, including the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) balancing policy for Apple products," he explained.

Moreover, Apple is also committed to enhancing the quality of education in Indonesia, both in terms of human resources and infrastructure.

"Apple has established three and will soon open the fourth Apple Academy. I believe the output of this program is excellent in producing quality human resources and innovative applications that can be applied in other companies," he said.

Apple has announced its plan to open its fourth Apple Developer Academy in Indonesia, located in Bali. The first Apple Developer Academy in Indonesia was inaugurated in Jakarta in 2018. Apple has also established academies in Surabaya and Batam. The program has been attended by over 2,000 aspiring developers.

“We’ve seen many times over that a line of code can change the world — and in Indonesia, we’re investing in the creativity and skills of people determined to prove it,” said Tim Cook in his official statement. “We’re excited by the growing developer community in Indonesia, and we look forward to investing in the success of even more coders with our fourth academy in the country.”

Minister Budi Ari Setiadi revealed that he is also lobbying for Nvidia CEO Jansen Huang to visit Indonesia.

"We are lobbying for Jansen Huang to also come to Indonesia because Tim Cook is coming on the 17th (April), then the boss of Microsoft Satya Nadella on the 30th (April)," he said.

According to Budi, the visit will have a positive impact on Indonesia. Considering Nvidia and telecommunications operator Indonesia are currently committing to build an AI center in Solo worth $200 million or nearly Rp 3 trillion.

Budi revealed that the government will continue to open opportunities for the world's best technology companies to invest in Indonesia.
